Plant Extract Benefits
- CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of 115 cannabinoids found naturally in the hemp plant. Cannabinoids can interact with the body via the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to maintain a normal state of healthy balance
- Spent Grain Wax is extracted from barley grains. It helps to reduce irritation and itching, and can also reduce the red appearance of inflamed skin
- Methyl Salicylate is naturally found in wintergreen plant species and can calm and soothe irritated skin. It also creates a cooling and then warming sensation on the skin
- Peppermint provides a cooling feeling to the skin and there is early evidence that it may also have a good effect in calming itchy skin
- Chamomile is a powerful and soothing anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antiseptic. It’s a strong carrier ingredient too, and helps increase penetration of other plant extracts
- Defensil Plus is a proprietary blend of blackcurrant, balloon vine and other plant extracts which together help reduce irritation and inflammation
